Hi I’m a product and brand designer from Toronto who recently graduated from York University/Sheridan College Program in Design YSDN. I enjoy examining how design can assist areas of need, simplify problems, and craft smarter and safer experiences. Outside of design, you can find me checking out the latest food craze and places, and scouting out shiba inus on the street.

If you happen to be interested in my work, check out my resume here, or connect with me personally!

Eight is a project inspired by my research on non-verbal communication. When it comes down to it, how we communicate can be broken down into three main components; body language, speech, and written words. Out of the three, written words have demonstrated to be the hardest way to communicate due to its lack of visual cues. As a result, this made me question how could we improve interactions that are built on texting, and reduce misunderstandings made through misinterpreted messages? This is an ongoing project that I am working on, if you’re interested to learn about my progress feel free to get in contact.

Research has revealed that messages between individuals are conveyed 55 percent from the body, 38 percent from the voice—inflection, intonation, volume—and 7 percent from the words.
